Anthea has 20 years’ experience in the field of aesthetics, plastics and head and neck surgery.

She was previously a Senior Sister in the operating theatres at Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) and her success as a cosmetic practitioner is testimony to her professionalism and expertise as an advanced aesthetic nurse.

Anthea’s passion for facial aesthetics stems from her many years experience as a Registered Nurse specialising in Plastic Surgery.  During this time Anthea had the opportunity to work in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh as a dedicated team member for Interplast UK.  This charitable, voluntary organisation provides much needed free, plastic/reconstructive surgery for people in poor countries struggling with facial deformities, such as acid burns, cleft lip and palate.   She also used her teaching qualifications to educate hospital staff on safe practice and patient welfare.

Anthea has undergone extensive training in aesthetic medicine, including advanced facial volumising techniques, microsclerotherapy, skin needling, botulinum toxin (Botox®) injections and anti-ageing skin solutions.

Her specialist areas are facial lifting using injectable treatments, tear trough treatment and lip enhancement.

Anthea is also highly knowledgeable in many other areas, including: skin rejuvenation with Botulinum Toxins (Botox®), radio frequency, skin needling and problematic skin conditions.

Anthea is a big believer in the ‘less is more’ ethos of Harrogate Aesthetics.
